Bhutan is one of the smallest countries in the world existing between the
giant and largest mountains of Himalayas demarcating the region of India and
China. Unlike democratic country like India preaching different cultures and
traditions in each and every part of the country, this tiny kingdom of Bhutan
preaches and believes in Buddhism which is called as “The Last Shangrila”. While you are on a Bhutan tour, it is really
likely that you will get influenced by it.
Transport
Once upon a time it was difficult to travel to Bhutan but not now,
flights are conveniently available from all metro junction cities of a country and it is
suitably connected with all modes of transport. Minibus facility is also
available for the tour.
Best time to visit Bhutan
Romantic and wet climate with plenty
of birds and wild flowers around are from March to May. Clear sightseeing and
less rainfall is observed during September to November. Monsoon is expected in
Bhutan between June and August. White snowfalls may result in road closures,
accidents or delays in the month of December to February. Winter can be the
good time to visit as the days are cold and sunny and the blanket of snow makes
it even more pleasant.
Eating and Drinking
One of the best ways to understand the
taste of a country is by eating! Whether by sampling lane food, savoring a
cheap eat or indulging in a banquet, there are infinite options to pick from
wherever a tourist belongs to and Bhutanese are very fond of spicy food
especially coated with chilli. Food items to try in Bhutan are Red Rice, Momos
and Red Panda Beer.
Tourist fond of nature’s mesmerizing beauty including walking near the
mountains, steep slopes, and deep valley, then this is the place of desire.
